Friday May 31 marked a new milestone for the indoor skatepark BYRRRH & SKATE in Anderlecht. Concrete-dreams and Antidote Skateparks, two companies (but more importantly, two large families of skaters) specialized in the creation of concrete skateparks, arrived to pour 8 cubic meters of concrete and complete the park, which was made of wood until now.
In total, around twenty people, including volunteers, arrived with their tools at 7 a.m. to start pouring the concrete. By 3 p.m., everything was finished, and the beer started flowing to celebrate.
On BYRRRH side, Youssef talks about a second concrete part which should be poured in the coming months.
"Our team is made up of skaters. You can't build a skatepark if you don't skate, if you don't have the passion. We deliver quality."
